The Archives Department of Islami Jamiat Talaba Pakistan plays a vital administrative and research-oriented role within the organization. Its primary objective is to systematically preserve, organize, and digitize the historical records of Jamiat, ensuring that its institutional legacy remains accessible for future generations.
This department is responsible for collecting, scanning, and securing all types of physical documents such as letters, reports, circulars, meeting minutes, photographs, posters, pamphlets, and magazines. Each item is carefully categorized into specific folders, classified by type, year, and importance, and assigned a proper file code for accurate indexing.
All materials are compiled into PDF and JPG formats and registered in the official Archive Register, creating a comprehensive digital database. This organized system allows for easy retrieval, research, and reference, preserving Jamiat’s historical and organizational heritage as a valuable resource for scholars, members, and historians alike.
